Enable Ireland Garden Centre and Gift Store in Limerick City is open to the public once more. Now, you can get all your gardening needs under one roof, safely and in line with official guidelines.

The garden centre is located on Honan’s Quay beside Enable Ireland’s existing charity shop and furniture store, just metres from O’Connell Street, behind Penney’s store and across the road from Arthurs Quay Car Park. Limerick locals will remember this site as the old Roches Stores Garden Centre site which has been brought to life once again.

There is a one-way pedestrian system in operation with the safety of customers and staff being the priority at all times. Customers who can’t make it to the store can also order online for delivery nationwide. 100% of the profits support Enable Ireland’s vital disability services.

“Like many charities, Enable Ireland has been significantly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. We’ve had to close our 21 charity shops and postpone planned fundraising events. We are facing a loss of up to €1.5million in funding. Now, more than ever, we need the public’s support to continue to provide our vital services to children and adults with disabilities. By shopping at our Garden Centre in Limerick, you will be supporting our vital disability services in your local community,” said Oonagh O’Connor, Head of Commercial, Enable Ireland.

Enable Ireland’s Garden Centre and Gift Store stocks everything you need for your garden including a great range of planters, trees, seeds, plants, pots, garden tools, and equipment. In-store, you will also find a great selection of gifts, ornaments, and homeware.

Enable Ireland are also offering a nationwide delivery service if customers cannot make it into the city. Shoppers can also purchase gardening gifts on Enable Ireland’s online eBay store. More details on this service are available HERE
