Get ready for the MSI 2024 Symposium at University of Limerick, where minds will meet, ideas will flow, and innovation will soar!
Welcome to the registration page for the annual Microscopy Society of Ireland Symposium 2024. This in-person event will take place from 17th – 19th January 2024 and will be held in the Bernal Institute at University of Limerick. This symposium aims to bring together the diverse community of microscopy through cutting-edge and innovative research happening across Ireland and further afield.
We will host sessions on electron, probe and biological microscopy as well as image analysis, instrumentation development and a discussionary session on infrastructure access.
To encourage community and networking amongst our postgraduate members there will be a postgraduate mixer event rumoured to be a table quiz with a free drink voucher hosted by our postgrad representatives after their successful table quiz held earlier in the year for the annual Rory Comerford memorial lecture.
There will be prizes for best speaker and best poster based on submitted abstracts and an opportunity for exceptional abstracts to be upgraded to an invited talk for early career researchers.
We have the utmost pleasure to hold the Gala Dinner in the beautiful Bunratty Castle for a Medieval-themed dinner where you will experience singing and dancing from the Bunratty Castle singers and enjoy traditional Irish food and Mead. We are absolutely privileged to share this truly unique experience with our delegates!
