This is the first annual Limerick Mental Health Ball and Limerick Mental Health Association are hoping for it to become an annual event on the Limerick social calendar every year and it is something that will help fundraise for an excellent cause that will really help the vulnerable in the community.

The evening will kick off with a prosecco drinks reception on arrival, followed by a five-course meal with wine. Limerick Mental Health Association’s ambassador, Meghann Scully, will emcee the night. Entertainment will be provided by the band Trees Falling Down and a DJ will be playing until late. There will also be spot prizes and a charity auction on the night. The Limerick Mental Health Gala Ball is sure to be a fantastic night and it is for an even more fantastic cause.

Limerick Mental Health Association is looking for businesses to sponsor the incredible event in the Savoy Hotel or by purchasing an ad in their leaflets which will be sent out to over 60,000 homes and businesses across Limerick. Sponsoring the event comes in three packages from sponsoring the drinks reception to sponsoring the entire meal. A €1000 donation from your business will allow your company to sponsor the drinks reception and receive two tickets, a special thank you on the night, your name will appear in the 60,000 leaflets sent to Limerick homes and businesses and your business name will be included in the Limerick Mental Health Ball Brochure. €3000 will allow you to sponsor the wine and receive five tickets for half a table and appear in the Limerick Mental Health Brochure along with the leaflets that will be printed. €6,500 euro will allow you to sponsor the entire meal. You will receive tickets for a table of ten, your name will appear in the events name, ‘Your Company’s Limerick Mental Health Ball’, your company logo will appear on all photography on the night with photos being uploaded by October 15.

“As this is a fundraising initiative for many charities in the Limerick area and survives largely due to months of work by a large team of volunteers, it is important that we receive sponsorship from local businesses. We hope therefore that Limerick businesses are able to make a donation and acknowledge that this work supports a wonderful cause,” Lorna Horgan, Chairperson for the Limerick Mental Health Ball Committee told ilovelimerick.

Tickets for the event cost €100 and can be purchased online at Eventbrite, here
