Developed by the Limerick Food Group and supported by Limerick City & County Council and the Failte Ireland Taste the Island campaign, the series focuses on Limerick’s unique heritage as a way to showcase the great food available locally, building on the city and county’s deep-rooted food heritage.
Chef Angel Pirev at the Mustard Seed has designed a four-course menu for the Mustard Seed Pigtown Celebrations and whilst pork will feature, there will be other delicious dishes to choose from to ensure everyone’s tastes are satisfied. The head chef is an advocate for using locally sourced in-season ingredients, many of which are from the on-site kitchen garden.
