2023 Limerick Student City campaign is urging applicants to consider Limerick ‘for an unforgettable student experience’

2023 Limerick Student City campaign is urging applicants to consider Limerick’s top-class educational institutes, vibrant city life, and future opportunities ‘for an unforgettable student experience’

Time is running out for CAO applicants to make Limerick their preferred Student City. Applicants have until 01 July to avail of the Change of Mind option, allowing them to add or change their course choices on their CAO applications.

The Limerick Student City campaign is encouraging applicants to consider Limerick if they haven’t already put one of our top-class educational institutes on their list of choices.

The campaign highlights Limerick’s qualities as an ideal location for the complete student life experience, giving students the edge when it comes to college and degree choice, lifestyle and future opportunities.

Limerick boasts excellent connectivity and is the only location outside of Dublin with three university-level educational institutes. At its centre is a welcoming, fun and fast-paced city with a vibrant nightlife, welcoming bars and restaurants, quality shopping options and a range of activities to enjoy.

Limerick Student City is a collaboration between Limerick City and County Council, University of Limerick, Technological University of the Shannon and Mary Immaculate College along with tertiary education organisations. The campaign highlights Limerick as a top choice for higher and further education and study.

Donn O’Sullivan, Head of Marketing & Communications with Limerick City and County Council said, “Time is running out for this year’s CAO applicants to choose Limerick as their ultimate student destination. The Limerick Student City campaign once again urges applicants to consider Limerick’s top-class educational institutes, vibrant city life, and future opportunities. Remember, there’s truly ‘No Place Like Limerick’ for an unforgettable student experience.”
