New Year, New Series of Dance Classes for Everyone this January at Dance Limerick

Dance Limerick is excited to announce the return of their popular Classes for Adults and Professional Dancers, presented to you from the safety of your own home, in their ‘Dance Limerick at Home’ series.

Although the current Level 5 restrictions mean we can’t dance together in their studio in John’s Square, their highly experienced team of tutors have adapted each class format with your home in mind to deliver high quality live classes presented via Zoom.

Available classes include Contemporary Dance, Ballet for Beginners, Ballet for Improvers, Professional Classes, and our Over 50s Dance Project. Designed for total beginners, those with some experience, and professional dance artists, the classes will teach you key principles of dance and movement in an encouraging and safe environment.

The aim of these classes is to provide an opportunity for participants to develop the skill and confidence to dance with ease. These energetic dance classes are suitable for all adults of all ages and levels of fitness and are a great way to get in shape, develop flexibility, and to enjoy yourself. “Since we had to cancel our in-person dance classes early last year because of the pandemic, I’ve had so many queries from students wondering when we’ll be able to return to the studio,” said Dance Limerick’s Programme & Communication Manager, Emer Casey. “With this in mind, we’ve developed our Dance Limerick at Home series where we can still dance together, although we are apart. We’ve worked closely with our fantastic team of teachers who have adapted their lessons to suit students taking a class in their own homes. They will still be able to offer that personal element that makes in-person classes so enjoyable such as individual feedback, interaction, and correction.”

Don’t delay, sign up today for the New Term beginning this January.
