Dolans won Munster IMRO Live Music Venue of the Year Award 2023 earlier this year.

Limerick’s much-loved and nationally renowned Dolans has been crowned Best Music Pub at the Irish Pub Awards 2023.

Sponsored by IMRO, this highly coveted award was given to the iconic Limerick venue at a Gala awards final on November 15 at The Round Room in Dublin’s Mansion House.

The Irish Pub Awards celebrate excellence and innovation in the pub sector and give the opportunity to pubs and venues across Ireland to be recognised for their efforts in adding to the nation’s social scene and night life.

The awards which are accessible to all members of the Vintners’ Federation of Ireland, saw Dolans take home the prize in what is a highly competitive and sought after category.

Mick Dolan, expressing immense gratitude, remarked, “Thank you! We are delighted to win the VFI Pubs regional winners for Best Music Pub.”

This recent achievement adds to a successful year for Dolans who scooped the People’s Choice Award at the Irish Bar of the Year awards in August and the title of Best Venue in Munster at the IMRO Awards earlier in January.

Writing on Twitter, Dolans expressed their delight and gratitude, saying, “We are delighted to receive the award for best music pub. We are coming up to a milestone anniversary next year, celebrating 30 years since we opened. Thank you to all our incredible staff, musicians, suppliers and customers.”

Situated on the Dock Road, Dolans has continually attracted audiences with a vibrant atmosphere across many rooms within the venue including Dolans Warehouse which has hosted many amazing acts from the local, national, and international scene.

The award cements the venue’s status as a premier destination for punters from near and far while recognising their contributions to the Irish pub scene and the city’s offerings.

With this latest accolade, Dolans is setting the bar for the Irish pub scene and acknowledging the efforts made in the live music scene.
