Eason Parkway Shopping Centre customer wins €1,000,000 on Daily Million game!

The winner has become the second Daily Million top prize €1,000,000 winner so far this year following a player from Kerry who had a similar win in January.

A busy Limerick City store has been confirmed as the winning location for Tuesday night’s 9pm Daily Million top prize worth €1,000,000. The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold on the day of the draw at the Eason shop in the Parkway Shopping Centre which is located on the Dublin Road in Limerick City.

The National Lottery have confirmed that they are still waiting to hear from Ireland’s newest millionaire and are urging Daily Million players in Limerick to check their tickets carefully. The winning ticket holder is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place. They should contact the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or [email protected] and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize.

The winner has become the second Daily Million top prize €1,000,000 winner so far this year following a player from Kerry who had a similar win in January.

Eunan Boylan, Area Manager for Eason, was overjoyed to hear the good news: “This is the biggest win that we have had in our Parkway Shopping Centre store so it’s great news. We have lots of local customers as well so it’s great to think that it could be someone in the area who is the lucky winner. I’m sure they’ll get a surprise when they check their ticket and realise just how much it’s actually worth. We wish the winner all the best and hope they enjoy their new fortune!”

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 34 years ago. In 2020 alone, €254 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
