Limerick singer Eve Stafford embarks on a new venture presenting a solo classical crossover concert in March entitled ‘Songbird.’ Due to popular demand and the sell out of her first concert date in record time a second performance has been added. Eve is delighted to announce that ‘Songbird’, featuring violinist Anna Jane Ryan and pianist Fiona Linnane will return for a second night at Kilmurry Arts Centre. It is very fitting that this all female concert is scheduled to take place on International Women’s Day, Friday, 8th March at 8pm, at the charming Kilmurry Arts Centre in Castletroy.

The ‘Songbird’ concert not only showcases Eve Stafford’s vocal versatility but also features the artistry of accomplished violinist Anna Jane Ryan and pianist Fiona Linnane. Together, these three talented women promise an evening of uplifting music and song. Eve has carefully curated a program of her favourite music featuring a selection of popular Irish music throughout the ages, beloved operatic and wedding classics, and movie and musical favourites.

The local songstress is well known to Limerick audiences having performed regularly in solo recital at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Mary Immaculate College, the Hunt Museum and has appeared in several productions with Opera Workshop and concerts with the Limerick Opera Festival. She is a multi award winning vocalist having won all major awards at Féile Luimnigh and Feis Maitiú, Corcaigh.
