Limerick City Tidy Towns’ third award for 2023 has gone to The Flower Studio on Cecil Street
Maura says “The Tidy Towns team love this beautifully kept family run florist shop, which this year celebrates its 60th anniversary. Although situated on a street that has had more than its fair share of construction works ongoing over the past few years, with the building of the newly opened Rugby Experience and the redevelopment of units next door, The Flower Studio has continued to maintain its high standards with clean traditional hand-painted signage and attractive foliage outside the front of the shop, which is beautifully lit at night. It is a credit to the owners and a great asset to this part of the city”.
The Flower Studio is one of Limerick’s best known, longest established florists, having first opened in 1963. It is a family run, customer focused company, whose aim is to supply unique and elegant arrangements using only the freshest flowers available. Throughout their years in business, they have built strong customer loyalty through offering an excellent service and quality products to suit all budgets. They also offer a nationwide and international delivery service through their Interflora network. Flowers can be safely ordered from their secure website or simply contact the shop directly on 061 419414.
The Flower Studio is Limerick City Tidy Town’s third winner of 2023, since they switched to bi-monthly awards this year, and will be in with a chance to be their Overall Winner for 2023 at next year’s annual event, along with the January-February winner Dolans, and March-April winner Rift Café.
If you wish to nominate a business in the city for an award or indeed to volunteer with Limerick City Tidy Towns, they meet every Sunday morning at 11 am at the corner of Thomas Street and O’Connell Street, and on Wednesday evenings at 6 pm outside the White House during summer months.
