Holiday Show Returns to UL for a Fourth Year

The Holiday Show, in association with Shannon Airport, at UL Sports Arena is returning to Limerick

Holiday Show 2019 Makes a Welcome Return to UL for a Fourth Year.

The Holiday Show 2019, in association with Shannon Airport, returns to the UL Sports Arena, Limerick on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th February 2019, from 11-5 pm.

Now in its fourth year, The Holiday Show 2019 returns with over 90 exhibitors including airlines, hotels, cruise companies, travel agents, tourist boards, tour operators, tourist attractions, motorhomes, caravan, camping and more. Attendees can snap up exclusive deals, get expert advice, win some fantastic prizes and plan out the perfect holiday to suit your needs, with ideas to suit every dream and every budget.

“Booking holidays early this year is essential, with last-minute deals to be few and far between due to the rush to snap up holidays to the Canaries, Spain, Portugal and the USA and Canada,” organisers of the show have stated. Trends this year suggest that consumers are likely to be disappointed if they wait for a ‘last minute’ deal.

The Holiday Show 2019 is the biggest of its kind outside of the capital.  Experts will be on hand to provide holidaymakers with all the advice they need for booking their trip, whether it’s their annual holiday, a short-break or honeymoon.

Shannon Airport’s Head of Aviation Development, Declan Power, said; “We are delighted to be back for a fourth year, bigger and better than before. Shannon Airport is now Ireland’s fastest growing airport outside of the capital. Last year was its best year this decade with a growth of 6.5% bringing total passenger numbers to over 1.86 million – delivering, in total, 33% growth since 2013.

“New services to Toronto with Air Canada and new Ryanair services to Barcelona-Reus, Bristol and Liverpool helped achieve record passenger numbers in 2018.  This year sees the introduction of Ibiza and East Midlands with Ryanair and the Alicante service increasing to year round so we have another exciting year ahead.”

The Holiday Show 2019 will be open from 11-5 pm on the 16th and Sunday 17th February. Entry and car parking is free, and there will be a free children’s entertainment zone also. Visitors to the show will have the opportunity to discuss and book their holidays with travel experts and will be in with a chance to win one of many prizes on offer throughout the two-day event.
