Marie Breen and Limerick Mental Health Association
Marie Breen is resigning from the board of the Limerick Mental Health Association at the end of the month. Marie has been Limerick Mental Health’s guardian angel for the last 10 years and has touched many a person’s life with her empathy and kindness.
In her role as Secretary of the Board, she has been kept busy at monthly meetings, organising a busy Board of Directors and running events throughout the year. Her consistent smile, her weekly presence in the Le Cheile project and her devoted commitment to the Limerick Mental Health Association Board will make her irreplaceable. No job is ever too big or too small for Marie and she has always undertaken both with grace and enthusiasm over the past 10 years.
While working tirelessly in the background, Marie has never been one for the limelight or the accolades, but anyone who has ever met her knows that she is a true crusader for Mental Health Awareness and has devoted her time to the promotion of Positive Mental Health.
When asked to describe Marie, there is one over-riding response – “She is just such a lady and a pleasure to be around. She will be so missed by everyone in Limerick Mental Health Association”.
