SparkED are delighted to announce the official launch of their website – www. sparked.ie
SparkED youth leadership programme empowers young people to take their future into their own hands being a leader within themselves and in the wider community to create a brighter future. They aim to provide second-level students with valuable life skills that are applicable in third-level education and the world of work.
The programme is aimed at Senior Cycle Secondary School Students. Their new online platform allows them to complete interactive workshops, learn a variety of new skills, expand their horizons and receive feedback from some of their top partners. They look forward to utilising the added benefits of our online approach while also maintaining the benefits students received from previous years.
Jean Grady & Caoimhe Hanamy, SparkED Leads said, “We have six interactive workshops including CV creation, Interview, Time Management/Study, Volunteering, Computer/IT and Presentation Skills. Our newly added career guidance section also provides students with an abundance of useful guides, resources and contact points in order to help with the CAO process and their futures in general. We hope to give a fresh, student perspective on life after secondary school. We will offer up our experiences of life in college, alternatives to university and much more.”
