The Limerick duo, T.A. Narrative’s unique and exciting live show and the release of their acclaimed debut EP ‘Retro Futurism’ in 2023, have firmly placed them as a must see act.

The video accompanies the group’s opening track from their well-received debut E.P. released earlier in 2023, “Loves Hold” is what vocalist, Tara explained the track is about “navigating grief”.

Drawing influences from post-punk, electronic, and sparkly pop music (from Fugazi to Carly Rae Jepsen), they have been described as having “a charming abandon and a palpable sense of freedom and joy in the music that they create” by notbad.ie.

When asked about the track, Vocalist Tara said, “Love’s Hold is the opening track from our debut EP Retro Futurism, released earlier this year. Simply put It’s about navigating grief. The weight of the loss I was experiencing was like nothing I’d felt before. 

“The absence turned my world into an empty room. And so this track became a tangible way for me to work through the pain. Grief doesn’t disappear nor would I want it to. It was more about understanding it in myself and growing around it.”

Fresh off the back of a tour with King Kong Company and having opened for the likes of Le Boom, Bush Tetras and KYNSY, the group released the video for their new single wrapping up what was a successful 2023.
