Paula has always dreamed of taking part in the Rose of Tralee, to wear the sash and sparkling tiara and bring pride to her beloved Ballynanty, but, Paula has quite a few obstacles in her way – no sponsor, her own family do not believe in her, but, is the biggest obstacle of all is her area code?

Performed in the usual Misfits style of raucous, irreverence, this gem of a show will not leave you disappointed.

A drama, a comedy, a dramedy!

The Northside Misfits are celebrating their 8th year with this World Premiere. It has been a very busy few years for the Misfits with their previous plays selling out in the Belltable and the Northside Youth Space and an invite to Manchester by ‘Walk The Plank’ street theatre company for the Manchester Day Parade.  They also travelled to the Aviva in Dublin for the Palliative Care Conference to perform their highly acclaimed play ‘taLK’.    During lockdown, the group adapted their play ‘taLK’ into a short film, which they shot in September 2021.

‘The Rose of Ballynanty’ premieres for one night only at the ‘The Belltable’.  Tickets: €7.00 on Friday, May 13, 2022.
