With the 2023 Rugby World Cup just a few weeks away, the International Rugby Experience in Limerick has  launched an exciting competition that could see a family of four ‘Live Like a Legend’ at the tournament this Autumn.

With Ireland embarking on an exciting set of pool stage fixtures, the International Rugby Experience is offering anybody who visits the Experience before August 31st the opportunity to be sent to the crucial final group fixture against Scotland in Paris.

The prize includes flights, transfers, four-star hotel accommodation, meals and match tickets for four people as Ireland aim to seal qualification for the knockout stage of the competition in the French capital.

Entry mechanic is simple: take a tour of the International Rugby Experience as an individual, group or family before close of business on August 31st, post a picture to social media (Instagram, Facebook or Twitter) using #IRE2RWC, and tag the International Rugby Experience on your chosen platform.

Everybody who does so will be automatically entered into the competition, with a winner announced early September. Full terms and conditions are available at www.internationalrugbyexperience.com.

The Experience, which launched to much fanfare in May of this year, is a fully immersive, interactive, multi-sensory experience designed to engage and inspire families and individuals alike. Split into six zones, it takes visitors on a journey from the grass roots of rugby right up to legendary status – with each stage rooted in World Rugby’s values of Passion, Discipline, Integrity, Solidarity and Respect. While the ardent rugby fan will find plenty of entertainment inside the walls, kids, families and those with little or no interest in rugby union can also enjoy a world of interactive fun in the Home of Legends.

International Rugby Experience board advisor, Keith Wood, said: “I was fortunate enough to represent Ireland at several Rugby World Cups and I can say unequivocally that the supporters were a key motivator for us as a team. There is no prouder feeling than doing well for your own people, and it would be incredible to send four special fans from the IRE to Paris to roar on Ireland this Autumn. Visitors to the IRE have been immersed in a world of passion, discipline, integrity, solidarity and respect since it opened, and it’s safe to say all those virtues will be on display at the Rugby World Cup this year.”

The exciting competition is launched on the back of some recent success for the International Rugby Experience, as the building was last month crowned the 2023 Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI) Public Choice Award winner, and also landed the first ever RIAI award for Cultural and Public Buildings.

In addition, it was also recently awarded the ISO 20121 certification, an international standard for sustainable event management, certified by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI).

Visitors can pre-book tickets for their chosen day and time HERE. Tickets are priced at just €10 for children (under 18) and €15 for adults with family and group discounts available; individuals and families will hear the stories, feel the passion and test their skills as they discover what it takes to Become a Legend!

The International Rugby Experience is open seven days a week from 9.30am to 6pm with the last tour starting at 4.30pm.
