Director Aoife McClafferty expressed her delight about the show saying ‘Oliver!’ is not to be missed, “Oliver is a real family-friendly show, but at the same time there’s a lot of meat in it, there’s a lot of depth.

‘Oliver!’ follows last year’s success of Limerick Musical Society’s production, ‘Titanic’, which enjoyed a sold-out run and theatre enthusiasts are encouraged to book their tickets early for what is sure to be another unforgettable performance.

Emma Moore, Limerick Musical Society Chairperson said the theatrical value of ‘Oliver!’ from the sadness and happiness, to the iconic music is what helped choose the musical as this year’s show, but added, “And we did want to do something that allowed the next generation of LMS to feature as well.

“But, it’s a classic, it’s a masterpiece in its own right, and we’re renowned for bringing new and exciting musical theatre to Limerick and it absolutely fits the bill for that.”
