Mid West Simon Community are delighted to announce that their Annual Charity Gala Ball will be taking place on Saturday, November 13 at 6.30pm in the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Ennis Road.  

There will be a prosecco reception and music by Capriccio String Quartet in the foyer, Steve Spade Magic will perform during the 5 course meal and Paul The Busker Fahy Band will entertain after dinner. Minister For Housing, Darragh O’Brien T.D. will be the Guest Speaker at the event.

The Mid West Simon Gala Ball is a fundraiser allowing people to get together to support the homeless in Limerick, Clare and North Tipperary.  The Ball will be the key high profile event in the Midwest since Covid-19,  allowing attendees to get out there and celebrate after the pandemic and it will be a very much sought after occasion! 

Tables are booking up fast, with a limited number of Tables left, so don’t delay and book your Table soon. The attire will be evening wear and this may be the first occasion for some people to get dressed up and entertained since the Pandemic.  It will also be the perfect function to entertain clients or colleagues and network of course. In the event of cancellation, all tickets will be refunded.

CEO of Mid West Simon Community, Ms Jackie Bonfield said “I am delighted that Minister Darragh O’Brien T.D. will be our Guest Speaker, having launched the Housing For All Strategy on the 2nd September.  Mid West Simon welcome the governments Housing for All Strategy to assist with eliminating homelessness and the housing crisis in Ireland.  We are really excited that we are hosting our Charity Ball again this year, giving us an opportunity to raise much-needed funds following a very difficult time for fundraising.  We will have a collection of truly outstanding items and packages to bid on as well as our great raffle prizes.”

About the Mid West Simon Community:

Mid West Simon Community was established in October 2006. Covering the counties of Clare, Limerick and North Tipperary, the aim of the organisation is to support people through their journey out of homelessness by providing appropriate accommodation and care services, tailored to their individual needs.
