Munster Heart Foundation Ladies Lunch on Valentines Day

The Munster Heart Foundation announces the 2nd annual Munster Heart Foundation Ladies Lunch and Fashion Show taking place at The Savoy Hotel, Limerick on Valentine’s Day February 14th at 12:30 pm. 

The Munster Heart Foundation is continuing to raise valuable funds to go towards the cost of an Intra-Cardiac Echo (ICE) machine for University Hospital Limerick. This lifesaving equipment will continue to help many people in the Munster region.

Speaking on behalf of the Munster Heart Foundation, Prof. Tom Kiernan & Dr Samer Arnous discuss heart attacks and heart disease in general.

Cardiovascular disease is the single most common cause of death in Ireland and across the western world. Heart disease is becoming more prevalent because of changes in lifestyle, diet, lack of exercise and smoking.

The cardiology department at University Hospital Limerick is a modern, state of the art facility providing 24-hour cardiac care to patients. It is one of just five nationally designated 24/7 Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention centres for STEMI.

The department at University Hospital Limerick provides this emergency heart attack service for the people of Limerick, Clare, Kerry, and Tipperary.

The Munster Heart Foundation, in conjunction with University Hospital Limerick, thanks to the public in their support for their fundraisers and in helping raise awareness. 

They would also like to sincerely thank The Savoy Hotel, Hilary Thompson Agency and the fashion house across limerick for their help in  this event.
