Now, she wants to share her passion with others through her namesake Pilates business, which boasts a jam-packed schedule of weekday classes taking place online and across County Limerick. There are classes to accommodate all fitness and skill levels, with options ranging from introductory to high-intensity.

After suffering a debilitating back injury that came hand-and-hand with countless prescriptions and constant pain, Limerick native Nora met with a Pilates instructor and, within weeks, was on the mend.

Nora O’Grady Pilates offers something for everyone at a time that suits you best, with a mix of online and in-person classes taking place between 6am and 11pm each week! From gentle ‘Release and Stretch’ and ‘Wake Up Your Spine’ slots to vigorous ‘Pilates Party’ and ‘Mind, Body, Booty’ sessions, Nora is dedicated to providing high-quality Pilates for all.

Online attendees have the option to pay-per-class at a cost of €15 or purchase a membership, which allows access to unlimited Zoom and pre-recorded classes, for just €40 per month.

In-person classes return from Tuesday, September 6 at The Arena or Castlemahon Halla Nua in Newcastle West and the Devon Inn Hotel in Templeglantine. Weekly classes run in blocks of six at a cost of €60.

Morning classes run on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10am in The Arena Gym in Newcastle West. Individual classes for men and women take place in Castlemahon Halla Nua on Tuesday evenings from 7pm. The Devon Inn Hotel hosts the last evening class of the week on Wednesdays at 7.30pm.

Nora O’Grady Pilates also offers one-to-one pregnancy, postpartum, rehabilitation and pain relief appointments.

“I fell in love with Pilates two decades ago, and with all the positives associated with it, I’ve found there is never a good reason not to exercise,” says Nora.
