Munster and Ireland rugby legend Keith Earls is certainly on the nice list this year and was the perfect choice to welcome Santa to the International Rugby Experience (IRE) in Limerick. Santa will take up residence in his Secret Workshop there from this Thursday (November 30th) until December 23rd.

Families visiting the International Rugby Experience this Christmas can expect a warm welcome to a twinkling world of festive fun. Little ones will be kept busy working with Santa’s IRE Elves sorting some very important letters, checking out new inventions and even helping test toys before they are packed up for delivery on December 24th.

Once they complete their Elf training, they will find their way to Santa’s cosy sitting room where he will be checking his lists, spreading Christmas cheer and of course, giving out gorgeous gifts.

On Tuesday 19th December, a special low-sensory Santa’s Secret Workshop will take place in order to make visiting as inclusive, enjoyable and relaxed as possible. On this day the elves will allow extra time to welcome families, remove any sudden noises or surprises and make sure they are even more responsive to visitor’s individual needs.

International Rugby Experience CEO, Barry Hannon, said: “Santa was delighted to be welcomed by Keith Earls today – he’s a big rugby fan which is just one of the reasons he has chosen the International Rugby Experience for his Secret Workshop location. We are hoping to create a new family Santa tradition in Limerick’s city centre, just like in years gone by, and it’s wonderful to see so many of our dates already sold out. Santa and all the team here are really looking forward to welcoming families over the coming weeks.”

Weekend dates are sold out, but some additional mid-week slots have now been released due to demand.
