Viko Viko is first Vietnamese and Korean restaurant to open in Limerick

Viko Viko is a brand-new street food restaurant in the heart of Limerick City, bringing something new to the Limerick food scene by serving delectable Vietnamese and Korean dishes. It is the first Vietnamese and Korean restaurant to open in Limerick. Among their many specialties are poke bowls, Korean corn dogs and pancakes, fried rice, noodle salads, pho and loaded fries. The restaurant is located where Zweton was previously on Denmark Street and brings an exciting new menu and a contemporary atmosphere with it.

Based on the corner of Unit 1, Little Ellen Street, the setting is unique and special. The restaurant has a spacious, orange bus to seat customers outside the restaurant, giving diners the rare of feel of enjoying their meals outdoors while being comfortable indoors simultaneously! The interior is also remarkable and trendy, boasting beautiful lighting, stunning plants, stone walls and outer-space themed murals. The windows look out onto the bustling streets of Limerick city, adding to the urban theme of the street food restaurant.

There is also an abundance of gluten free and vegetarian options, with over half the menu being gluten free and offering meat alternatives such as tofu, everyone is sure to be catered for. The restaurant also serves a wide range of minerals and alcoholic beverages, as well as quality teas and coffees, ice cream and traditional Vietnamese and Korean desserts for those with a sweet tooth.

The new manager Jimmy said, “We are so excited to welcome new faces from Limerick to Viko Viko and show them what Korean and Vietnamese street food has to offer!”

Having only recently opened its doors to the public on November 17, 2022, the restaurant is the latest addition to Limerick’s collection of restaurants and the staff are looking forward to welcoming new customers to the fabulous location in Limerick city centre!
