The ‘Who Wants to be a Thousandaire’ show, created by Pallas Marketing, has attracted large audiences over the past fourteen years. Eight lucky contestants will be drawn exclusively from the audience on 8th November to have the unique opportunity to play for €1,000 on the night. With the well-loved ‘50/50’ and ‘Ask the Audience’ favourites along with a brilliant video-linked ‘Phone a Friend’ option to assist in answering the more difficult questions, ‘Who Wants to be a Thousandaire’ is the full game show experience from start to finish.

Tickets for ‘Who Wants to be a Thousandaire’ are available from any member of the fundraising committee and must be purchased in advance of the night. Anyone who fancies their chances and wishes to attend should call the school office for tickets –061330785.

Padraig Flanagan-Principal said: Who wants to be a Thousandaire is an exciting new fundraising venture for Castletroy College. We urgently require funding to upgrade and enhance our playing pitches which serve our 1220 students. These pitches host an array of sports including Hurling, Rugby, Gaelic Football for girls and boys, Camogie and Athletics. The pitches are also a key infrastructure for our extensive PE programme. This fundraising venture is a unique partnership between parents and the school with the support of Pallas Marketing. I thank the parent’s committee who have worked so hard to raise funds and I acknowledge the enormous contribution of my colleagues  especially Richie and Martina.”
