This exceptional collection emerged from the course held not long ago and will be officially launched at the People’s Museum of Limerick, located in Pery Square, Limerick, on Tuesday September 12 at 7:30 pm.

They stand as a testament to the diverse journeys individuals undertook, demonstrating how they navigated, endured, thrived, and coped during those testing periods.

The launch event at the People’s Museum of Limerick promises to be an interesting experience for writing and reading enthusiasts. Contributors whose work has made it to the pages of ‘Branching Out’ will be in attendance offering attendees the opportunity to gain an insight into the writings of the contributors.

Contributors featured in the anthology will have the opportunity to share their work from the course during the event, and The Limerick Writers’ Centre extends a warm invitation to the public to join them for the launch event.

Within the anthology lies a reflection of collective resilience, offering readers a glimpse into the human spirit’s remarkable capacity for growth and rejuvenation when faced with adversity.

The ‘Branching Out’ launch event makes up a busy time for Limerick Writers’ Centre which has recently announced it will present an exclusive poetry workshop led by Sheila Fitzpatrick.

The Poetry workshop, centered around poet Sheila Fitzpatrick O’Donnell’s celebrated poetry collection “Where I’m From,” offers a unique opportunity to delve into the art of poetic expression and craft on Saturday, September 9 at The People’s Museum of Limerick, 2 Pery Square.
