New movie Cavity on its way to Limerick soon

From the producer behind ‘Ensnared’, ‘Devil on my Back’ and ‘Ground Floor’ comes a new production for Limerick. New movie Cavity on its way to Limerick is a horror movie set around the already horrifying experience of going to the dentist.

Set in Ireland, the movie takes place in a mild-mannered dentist’s office (dentist portrayed by Karl Shiels, of Batman Begins, Stitches and Veronica Guerin fame). When an unexpected patient (Danilly Carvahlo, Brazilian-born model and television presenter) arrives, brandishing two missing teeth, supposedly from an accident, but all is never as it seems.

As their uncomfortable one to one exchange unravels, a series of dark twists and turns are exposed in the plot, and you have to ask yourself; who is examining who? If you thought that a trip to your local dentists was already a nerve wracking experience, prepare to get your nerves utterly wracked with this production.

Full production begins soon, with director Steve Spade making his directorial debut, co-director and Cavity script-writer, Jonathan Baynes and Aaron Walsh, as the director of photography. The entire production promises to be an unsettling and twist-ridden roller coaster. The trailer, found below, works to raise anticipation for the movie, with ominous music and drilling sounds in the background, while the camera focuses on a dentist’s chair.

Spade Lion Productions is a new production company, based in the heart of Limerick city. This new company, formed by Steve Spade and Paddy Murphy, two professionals with decades of experiences in the business of entertainment, will work to product short films, stage shows, theatre productions and more. They will be focused on developing the many talents that are present in Limerick.
