The spotlight is shining on The Acoustic Club as we approach the end of the summer with singer/songwriter Shane Duggan making a special guest appearance at this August’s event.

Renowned for its songwriter open-mic sessions, The Acoustic Club brings you another evening of exceptional emerging talent.

This month’s special guest Singer/Songwriter this month is Shane Duggan. Shane is originally from Kerry but has worked and played music in London up to the year 2000. Since his return to Ireland he has been writing and recording his own original music. Strongly influenced by folk and country music.

The Acoustic Club is an initiative of The Limerick Writers’ Centre, an organisation dedicated to nurturing and promoting artistic expression.

Operating on a voluntary basis, this event is a testament to the genuine passion and dedication of musicians who take the stage, fueled by the love for their craft and the desire to share their musical narratives

If you have a burning desire to share your musical creations, this event warmly invites you to take the stage. Each performer will have the opportunity to showcase their talent through short sets comprising two or three songs.
